This is show #98, Backlogged in Blues!

Well, hello there! And welcome to another BluzNdaBlood Show! This is your BluzNdaBlood  DJ  Dave Harrison coming at you once again from the Star City of Virginia …

Well, after two Women in Blues shows, which I’m very proud of and received lots of great feedback on, plus two special shows celebrating the Mannish Boys 5 year anniversary, I quickly got backlooged in blues!  I was receiving lots and lots of CDs to play from signed and unsigned artists that I’ve been dying to play, so here ya go!

We started off the show Sean Carney playing his tune, “Why Do You Lie” off of his Nite Owlz CD, Life of Ease.

So who else is on our backlogged blues roster to play on our show? We’ll be treated to: Dave Weld and the Imperial Flames, “Ed’s Boogie”; Elvin Bishop, “Red Dog Speaks”; hounds tooth, “Blues Is Truth”; Rick Taylor, By Myself”; Roxy Perry, “Blues Comes To Call”; Tommy Lee Cook, “Big Boss Man”; Pat Pepin, “Sneakin’ Suspicion”; Billy Lavender, “Shake It Baby”; Marshall Lawrence, “You’re Gonna Find The Blues”; Kirk Fletcher, “Ain’t No Way”; Ron Tanski, “Hurricane Boogie”; Joe Bonamassa, “Night Life”; and wrapping up with the big winner from the BMA’s Tommy Castro, with “Make It Back To Memphis”.

Well, you know the routine! Now that you’ve heard this great music, go out and by the music! Or go out and see them live! Then buy their music and tell them you heard their music on The BluzNdaBlood Show!

Special thanks to Michael Allen, from the Crossroads Blues Gallery for letting me use his great artwork on my web sites! Also, special thanks to Mike Hatcher for all his hard work in giving my web site a much needed face lift! We plan to have it up and live for my 100th show!

Speaking of my 100th show, it’s coming up soon! Woo hoo! Please consider being a part of the celebration! I’d love to get e-mail and or voice messages from you! Send me an e-mail on just how easy it is! This is your show! Please join the fun!

Enjoy the show and keep in touch! I can be found at MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter! Or better yet, e-mail me at dave@bluzndablood.com.

Hey, if you’re just listening to a single episode, click here to subscribe to the show through iTunes! That way my shows are downloaded “automagically” to you!
