This is show #65, Getting’ Your Delta Groove On!

Hey, everybody! It’s time to celebrate all the great music of Delta Groove Productions! They’ve won the Blues Music Award this year for the record label that is Keeping the Blues Alive! This show includes not only great Delta Groove music, but also an interview with the Delta Groove CEO and Mannish Boy’s harpman, Randy Chortkoff!

Well, we started off with The Hollywood Blue Flames playing Black Cat Bone! Who else are we gonna hear from other than The Hollywood Blue Flames? Well, lots from Randy Chortkoff! And how about Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers, Call Me Dangerous; The Mannish Boys, These Kind of Blues; The Legendary Rhythm and Blues Revue, Can’t You See; The Mannish Boys, Searchin’ Blues; Kirk Fletcher, Blues for Boo Boo; Mitch Kashmar, I Got No Reason; The Jackie Payne Steve Edmondson Band, Overnight Sensation; and wrapping up the show with The Mannish Boys playing Border Town Blues!

Here’s giving a shout out to all the folks listening to my show by the way of the Kansas City Online Radio station! I’ve joined the station and can now be heard on Saturday’s at 2:00 pm CST.

A special thank you always goes out to Michael Allen and the Crossroads Blues Gallery for the excellent artwork that enhances my web pages! I just bought the Hooker’s Blues print and love it!

Be sure to swing by the BluzNdaBlood home page! There are hyperlinks to all the great music that you hear on my show! You can e-mail me at dave@bluzndablood.com.
