This is show #23, “Blue Ribbon Blues? for the first part of February, 2007.

Welcome back, my blues brothers and sisters! This is Dave Harrison, your host of the BluzNdaBlood Podcast coming at ya once again from the beautiful Star City of Virginia! As usual, I’ve got another really butt-kicking show for ya! Ya know, I was reading up on all the festivities for the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN and was dieing to go, but simply couldn’t work it in! But it got me to thinking about all the great blues music that’s already out there and I decided to do something about it! The theme for today’s show is “Blue Ribbon Blues?… We’ll hear from all types of award winners in the show! From new and old artists, signed and unsigned!

Well I’m really looking forward to this “Blue Ribbon Blues? show! So what other award winners are in the lineup to keep your pulse pumping for the next 60 minutes or so? How about Kenny the “Blues Boss? Wayne, Luther Allison, Maria Daines, Bishop Perry Tillis, Tommy Castro with Coco Montoya, Fat Harry Dorth & the Fuzzy Licks, Janiva Magness, W.C. Clark, Mighty Lester, Otis Taylor, Paul Oscher, and Rod Piazza & The Mighty Flyers … Ready to get started? Let’s do it!!  Crank it up my friends, we’re off and running!
