BluzNdaBlood Dave Harrison

Oct 11, 2008

This is show #58, Blues Down to the Bone for the first part of October, 2008.

Hey, welcome back everybody! This is Dave Harrison, coming at ya once again from the little studio in the Star City of Virginia! Well, this show is themed Blues Down to the Bone and is based on the Edwin Holt song I’ll be playing on the show! So you ready for some Blues Down to the Bone?  I hope so! Crank it up my friends, we’re off and running!

Well, we started of the show with Boo Boo Davis and his tune, Talkin’ ‘Bout My Dogs. So who else are gonna hear from on Show 58? How about Edwin Holt, Down to the Bone; Diamond Jim Greene, Jug Band Music; Doug MacLeod, High Spending Woman; Paul Reddick, Devilment; Memphis Gold, Big Leg Woman; Papa Don McMinn, Junior’s Place; W.C. Handy Preservation Band, Aunt Hagar’s Children Blues; Tom Principato, Return of the Voodo Thing; Carlos del Junco, Bailey’s Bounce; Mojo Buford, Overplayed and Underpaid; and wrapping up with the beautiful Candye Kane singing My Country Man.

Special thanks to all the record labels, the artists, and the listeners who helped contribute to the show!  A special thank you always goes out to Michael Allen and the Crossroads Blues Gallery for the excellent artwork that enhances my web pages!

Be sure to swing by the BluzNdaBlood home page! There are new pages that highlight details of the artists that I play!
