This is show #72, Soul Monster!

Hey! Welcome back, everybody! What a real treat it was for me to preview an advanced copy of Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers Blues Quartet’s new Delta Groove Music CD called, Soul Monster! And to top that off, I also had the great opportunity to interview Rod about the CD! Woo hoo! The CD will be released in mid-June! But hear a few cuts off of the CD right here on the BluzNdaBlood show! Your first stop for the best of the blues! So are you ready to hear some Soul Monster? I hope so! Crank it up my friends, we’re off and running!

Well, we started off the show with Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers Blues Quartet playing Expression Session! Who else are we gonna hear from? Absolutely no one else! We’ll hear the interview I had with Rod and during the interview you’ll hear cuts off the Soul Monster CD like the title track, “Soul Monster”, then “Tell Me About It Sam”, and followed up with “Cheap Wine!  After I mention a few thanks, we’ll wrap it up with “Ko Ko Mo (I Love You So)”!

A special thank you always goes out to Michael Allen and the Crossroads Blues Gallery for the excellent artwork that enhances my web pages! Head on over to his web site and start your collection today!

Be sure to swing by the BluzNdaBlood home page! There are hyperlinks to all the great music that you hear on my show! And please e-mail me at dave@bluzndablood.com.

Show #72, Soul Monster! Dave how could you go wrong with Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers Blues Quartet’s. One of the finest and hardest acts working today. Dave,I can\'t wait until June 16 when Delta Groove Records releases \"Soul Monster\" Rod has been doing this for 30 years he is truly in full stride. By the way Dave does it come any sweeter than Honey? (pun intended)
