This is show #62, Blues Yule Love, 2008
Welcome back, everybody! Since the
Holiday season is right around the corner, this show is my
traditional Blues Yule Love show! I hope you enjoy it and listen to
it often! Hey, I was in a real rush to get the show out, so I took
the unusual opportunity of using a portable studio! So are you
ready to hear some Blues Yule Love? I hope so! Crank it up my
friends, we’re off and running!
We started off with the Roomful of Blues with Let It Snow! Let It Show! Let It Snow! Who else is in our BluzNdaBlood stocking that’s stuffed with great tunes? We’ve got Chick Willis, Chick 4 Christmas; Reverend Jimmie Bratcher, Man It’s Christmas; Roomful of Blues, Run Rudolph Run; Tommy Castro (w/ Marcia Ball), Christmas Everyday; Eddie Campbell, Santa’s Messin’ with the Kid; Mr. Vegas Man, Hey Santa; Roomful of Blues, I Want You With Me Christmas; Wiser Time, Blue Christmas; John Lee Hooker, Blues for Christmas; The Screaming Bluedogs, Christmas Snuck Up On Me Again; Mel Brown and the Homewreckers, Don’t Plan No Party This Christmas; Chick Willis, May Christmas Bring You Happiness; Roomful of Blues, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas; and dedicated to all the honorable men and women serving our country away from home this Christmas, we end the show with Jimmy Liggins, I Want My Baby For Christmas.
Here’s giving a shout out to all the
folks listening to my show by the way of the Kansas City Online Radio station! I’ve
joined the station and can now be heard on Saturday’s at 3:00 pm
A special thank you always goes out to
