This is show #55, Bad Time Blues (featuring Debbie Davies!) – for the last part of August, 2008.

Welcome back to the BluzNdaBlood Podcast! Your first stop for the best of the blues!

This is Dave Harrison, coming at ya once again inside the blues filled studio in the Star City of Virginia! Well, this show is filled with tunes about bad luck, hard times, having money, and all those other difficulties that gives us the blues! I guarantee these tunes will cure those blues! So you ready to hear some bad time blues?  I hope so! Crank it up my friends, we’re off and running!

Well, we started of the show with Debbie Davies playing Made Right in the USA! Who else will be belting about the tunes? How about Albert Castiglia, Bad Year Blues; Sean Costello, Hard Luck Woman; Watermelon Slim and the Workers, Hard Times; Debbie Davies and Coco Montoya, A.C.Strut; Debbie Davies, Can’t Live Like This No More, Howlin’ At The Moon, Takin’ It All To Vegas; Tommy Castro, It Ain’t Easy Bein’ Me; Michele Lundeen, No Money No Honey; and wrapping up with Corey Stevens belting it out like Albert King with That’s What the Blues Is All About!

Special thanks to all the record labels, the artists, and the listeners who helped contribute to the show!  A special thank you always goes out to Michael Allen and the Crossroads Blues Gallery for the excellent artwork that enhances my web pages!

Be sure to swing by the BluzNdaBlood home page! There are new pages that highlight details of the artists that I play!

Hey, are you living in the Maryland, DC, or Virginia area of the USA or planning to visit? If so, check out the great online concert directory at PlayList Magazine !

Hey, guess what? The BluzNdaBlood souvenir shop is open! A major portion of the proceeds will go to a foundation that provides funds for medical needs to ailing blues musicians! Absolutely nothing goes into Dave’s pockets! More info on the BluzNdaBlood web site!
