Feb 13, 2008

This is show #42, Love-In the Blues, Part 2 for the first part of February, 2008.

Hey, welcome back, everybody! This is Dave Harrison, your blues Cupid coming at ya once again from the love filled studio in the Star City of Virginia. After the last Valentine’s Show, I realized I had lots of extra songs! So since it’s still before Valentine’s Day, I have created a Love In the Blues Part 2 show! Every song has been hand-picked for you and has Love in it! You ready for some more Love-In the Blues? I hope so! Crank it up my friends we’re off and running!

Well, we started of the show with The Lara Price Band with Game of Love; The Tommy Castro Band, Nobody Loves Me Like My Baby; Smiling Jack Smith, I Love To Be In Love; Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers, Love To Spare; Watermelon Slim and The Workers, Got Love If You Want It; Chainsaw Dupont, Flame of Love; Big Joe and the Dynaflows, The Church of Your Love; Mighty Lester, Give My Love A Try; Lightnin’ Hopkins, Have You Ever Loved A Woman?; E.G. Kight, Lovin’ on the Weekend; Janiva Magness, I’m Just A Prisoner Of Your Good Lovin’; Rene Trossman, All Your Love; and we’ll wrap up with a live recording of Stevie Ray Vaughan playing Love Struck Baby!

Special thanks always goes out to Michael Allen and the Crossroads Blues Gallery for the excellent artwork that enhances my web pages!
