This finally is show #100, Brutha Dave’s Blues!
Hey welcome back! This is your bluesman, Dave Harrison once again coming at you from the Star City of Virginia … Wow, this is gonna be a great show! It’s SHOW 100 and my FIVE year anniversary of the show! Woo hoo!
Well, we started off the show with the very song that I played as the first song on the first show, and that’s “Me And My Guitar” by Tommy Castro!
So who else are we gonna hear from on today’s Show?
How about the one and only Janiva Magness, “I Can’t Stop Cryin’”; Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers, “Tough and Tender”; Mikey Junior, “Had A Woman”; Karen Lovely, “Blues Is My Business”; Saffire, Uppity Blues Women, “Too Much Butt”; The Mannish Boys, Goin’ Crazy Over TV”; Watermelon Slim & The Workers, “Truck Driving Mama”; Bryan Lee, “Blues Singer”; Zac Harmon, “Keep The Blues Alive”; Roomful of Blues, “Farmer John”; and wrapping up with a tune that’s played on every single show! We end with Guitar Shorty playing “Blues In My Blood”…. I love it!
Well, you know the routine! Now that you’ve heard this great music, go out and by the music! Or go out and see them live! Then buy their music and tell them you heard their music on The BluzNdaBlood Show! Your first stop for the best of the blues!
Thanks to all the artists that contributed to this show and left special messages! That also goes to all the long time listeners who sent in messages and e-mails! Sorry I couldn’t all of them!
Special thanks to Michael Allen, from the Crossroads Blues Gallery for letting me use his great artwork on my web sites! Also, special thanks to Mike Hatcher for all his hard work in giving my web site a much needed face lift! We plan to have it up very soon! Also thanks to the KCOR, Kansas City Online Radio, for playing my shows and the KCOR family for their ongoing support!
Hey, if you’re just listening to a single episode, click here to subscribe to the show through iTunes! That way my shows are downloaded “automagically” to you!
Until next time, this is Dave Harrison, reminding you to keep the blues alive and keep the blues in the blood!
