The BluzNdaBlood Blues Podcast
Get a refill on your favorite drink, grab a seat, and get ready to get some blues in the blood!

This is show #22, “Hand Picked Blues for the last part of January, 2007.

Welcome back, my friends! This is Dave Harrison, your very own buddy with the blues coming at ya once again from this little wall shaking studio in the Star City of Virginia! I’ve got another really good show for you! I want you to know each one of these songs were personally hand picked by me for your listening pleasure… It usually takes my 3 or 4 days to listen to my selections and then days to slowly narrow them down and make sure each is a perfect fit for the show and played in just the right spot! Come to think of it, would that be hand picked or would that be ear picked? Hmmm… that might be a good theme for another show!

I’m really looking forward to this “Hand Picked Bluesâ€? show! My blues lineup to keep your toes tapping for the next 60 minutes will be: Alvin Jett & the Phat noiZ Blues Band, Bluesman; the Chicago Blues Reunion, Drinkin Wine; the John Earl Walker Band, Welcome Back, Mr. Blues;  Kirk Fletcher, Blues for Boo Boo; Boo Boo Davis, Standin in the Cottonfields; Loiusiana Red, Cotton Pickin Blues; The Billy Gibson Band, Down Home; JT Ross, Aint That Lovin You, Baby?; Roscoe Chenier, Wild Cherry; Percy Strother, Kingbee; Corrina Greyson, Never Loved a Man; and The Rene Trossman Band, Frosty… Ready to get started? I hope so!  Crank it up my friends, we’re off and running!

Welcome to the first 2007 BluzNdaBlood show, “Cool Blues for a Hot Winter!’ For the record, this is show # 21 for early January, 2007.

Welcome back, my friends! This show’s theme is “Cool Blues for a Hot Winter. Ya know today’s temperature for January 6th was 70 degrees in my area of Virginia! I know my friends in the Colorado area would argue with the winter being hot, but I do have some very cool blues for you!

Hey, thanks so much for your support for the Holiday Blues podcast! That turned out to be the most popular BluzNdaBlood podcast, beating out all the previous shows! The response was overwhelming and I truly appreciate you listening in! Hey, there are lots of other blues podcasts out there! I know that! I listened to them before starting this one! I don’t have time to listen in on them any more, but realize they have the same goal in mind that I do! Play the best of the blues to ya! New and old! Signed and unsigned! And all flavors of the blues! But I do appreciate you listening in on mine! I’m far from perfect, but I hope to live up to my New Years resolution and that’s continually improving this show for ya! Keep it non-profit, non-commercial, and promise to play those that have had a break or two and those that deserve a few!

I’m really looking forward to this “Cool Blues for a Hot Winterâ€? show! Ya wondering who else I’ve queued up to keep you chillin’ for the next 60 minutes or so? How about Rufus Thomas, Blues Disciples, Hound Dog Taylor, David Evans, Steve James and Del Ray, Julian Fauth, Gina Sicilia, Mighty Lester, Jimmi Accardi, B.T. Richardson, The Smokehouse Ramblers, Howlin Wolf, Janiva Magness, and Coco Montoya! Ready to hear some cool blues? I hope so!  Crank it up my friends, we’re off and running!
