Welcome to the BluzNdaBlood podcast, Show #12

Hey, welcome back, everyone! This is your addicted bluesman Dave Harrison joining you once again for another show from the little jamming studio in the Star City of Virginia! Ya know, fall is now officially upon us and the weather is getting in that “Hey do I wear long sleeves or short?… Do I need a jacket?â€? kind of weather!  As things cool down, it’ll be my job to provide the hot tunes to balance this equilibrium of temperatures! Cool temps and hot blues!!!

This week I’ve got a huge smorgasbord of blues in one single kickin’ show! I think you’ll be surprised just how many styles of blues I can cram in a single show! We’ve got some zydeco blues, some Texican rock n rollin blues, some boogie blues, a lil Mississippi Delta blues, electric blues, some harpin blues, and some slow smoking grinding blues!

Set list for show #12: C.J. Chenier and the Red Hot Louisiana Band playing that first number “Turn Around & Say Goodbyeâ€? off of their “Step It Upâ€? Alligator Records CD. !  So who else is gonna contribute to our blues smorgasbord to keep you entertained for the next half hour? Well, how about a little sample from the Los Lonely Boys, the All Men Are Dogs show, William Clarke, John Lee Hooker, the Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, Watermelon Slim & the Workers, Robert Cray, and Lynwood Slim! Can you handle all that in one single show? I hope so! Crank it up my friends, we’re off and running!
